‘Change’ – Cause of Hope, Cause of Fear…

  • SumoMe

Almost every living soul on this planet earth feels weary and skeptic about change. Be it your personal life or professional change is one thing that even most prudent and judicious people try to evade from. Change can turn your life upside down, make you rich, make you sweat for every penny you earn, make you crazy, crazy happy or sad, make you a king or a helot, make you fall in love or fall out of it, make you a
champion or a ZERO. So, change can be good or bad but, it can never be comfortable…

Change is nature’s inescapable truth and the driving force for life. Everyone seeks change when things get either monotonous or outstandingly horrible. Everyone longs for it, hopes for it but when change actually
approaches we feel a slight apprehension, a small hesitation and a little nervousness…

We are accustomed to live, to work in a normal usual way, so when something atypical and unusual happens we have to overcome inertia and make efforts to get acclimatized to the change. And it’s the inherent nature of Men to avoid making any kind of efforts (we just don’t like lifting our hands or moving our legs) and if not possible then procrastinate…that is why we fear change.

Another thing is that we feel better when we think we know what future beholds for us. We like to believe that we are in control of things, to know which direction the road is heading. During transition we lose this command and uncertainty takes charge. And we don’t like it. We try to resist the change.
We want things to remain normal, even if the change promises a better future.

Because of its inherent nature, it’s very difficult for men to get adjusted to change without any difficulty; therefore it’s only wise to let go your doubts, accept whatever is coming your way and get ready to embrace the change with an open mind…

The wind of change can either be hot or cold and it might come as a relief to some but, it’s wise to keep a blanket handy because it’s never going to be comforting…
