Haryana is known for frequent cases of rapes. The latest reason stated for the increase in the sexual crime rate is the consumption of chowmein.
Khap panchayat in Haryana’s Jind district came up with the aforementioned explanation. “To my understanding, consumption of fast food contributes to such incidents. Chowmein leads to hormonal imbalance evoking an urge to indulge in such acts,” said Jitender Chhatar, the Khap panchayat leader.
Mr. Chhatar goes on to substantiate his argument saying since chowmein is a spicy food, it gives rise to such “feelings” and therefore the elders are advised to eat light and healthy food.
Of course, the suggested light food has nothing to do with the raised cholesterol levels or some disease, veterans might pick up due to unhealthy food. Spicy food increases the “feelings” in people and everybody should refrain from consuming spicy food.
The solution provided for the increasing rape cases is to get girls married at the age of 16. It is an absolutely delightful idea!
Of course, we shouldn’t tell the men to control their lust and teach our sons to be better human beings but we should get our daughters married at the age of 16. This will prevent the rape cases and peace would prevail throughout the country. In fact, if we promote this idea on an international level, world solidarity is not too far.
Mr. Sube Singh, the Khap leader who suggested this, might get nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize for the idea that will eventually change the face of this Earth.
Haryana congress chief Phool Chand Mullana and education minister Geeta Bhukkal stated that increasing rape cases were a conspiracy against the state government.
Well, nobody thought the people in power would understand the strategy behind rapes (which is actually to dissolve the government or instigate the citizens against it!), but then they are here to disappoint everybody. People like Mullana and Bhukkal have understood the rape cases for what they really are and would not succumb to the shrewd tactics of the opposition.
Dharamvir Goyat, another Congress leader, said that around 90 percent of the rape cases are consensual. Certainly such sexual encounters are “consensual” and that’s the basic reason why they are called “rape”. The meaning of the word “rape”, as provided by a certain well-known English dictionary is sexual intercourse by consent. Hence, it has thus been proved that the words “rape” and “consensual” are synonymous to each other.
Former minister and Congress MLA Sampat Singh stated that “lack of intellectual growth” is the reason behind rape cases. Any intellectually sound person will be able to see through his ruse which is to mislead the citizens of the country into believing that intellectual growth has something to do with the increasing crime against women.
Singh further goes on to corroborate his argument by saying that families do not monitor the activities of their children properly, and they later indulge in such crimes.
In a country likeIndia, which is the abode of gods, and spiritual awakening, to say such a thing is blasphemy.
Singh has hurt the sentiments of various communities and will have to give a public apology for the same.
