AIB is back after the spur it created with its Roast that aired Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh taking jibes at each other. This time around, however, the comedy group’s target is the fat Indian wedding that makes two strangers tie the knot in order to be the “match made in heaven.” Known for their unique concepts, AIB has taken their genius to the next level with their hilarious videos on “Honest Wedding”.

To be honest, the entire concept of arranged marriage is glaringly ridiculous to my mind. It is as if you are reduced to being a vegetable at the grocery store, where everyone is on the look-out to get the freshest vegetables available (yes, lots of pun intended). With their brutally honest take on the scene of arranged marriages in India, AIB has hit the nail on its head.

So, setting the stage for a grand wedding laden with much bling, AIB takes us to the drawing room of the bride’s house, where she is being pitched to the groom’s family.

What follows next is the wedding day, when the bride finally bids adieu to her family to be a “full-time maid” in her husband’s home.

In India, we are told not to talk to strangers all our lives, but are asked to marry one. Such wise words, indeed!
