Apple Inc. loves making headlines and we all love reading them. After launching the new iPhones, iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, Apple launched a new line of iPads on Tuesday. But it does not stop with that; the company also slashed the prices of its computers, and announced that it would give the Macintosh software free to its users.
This unveiling comes right in the middle of the festive shopping season, and aims at taking down its rivals—Samsung, Google and Microsoft—who are selling their products at half the prices this season.

Replacing the fourth generation iPad, the latest iPad is thinner and lighter than its predecessor.
The iPad Air also comes with an A7 chip, just like the latest iPhones, and is said to be eight times faster than before.
As for the camera, the iPad Air has a 5 megapixel camera and a 1.2 megapixel front camera.

Apple seems to have employed the most intelligent people in the world. The reason I say this is because nobody can think the way Apple does. Who would have thought the there might be a second version of the iPad mini; I mean what more can you do to make that tiny tablet better? But we seem to have forgotten that we are talking about Apple Inc.
Yes Apple launched the second version of the iPad mini with retina display and a resolution of 2048×1536 at 326 pixels per screen (ppi).
There is no change in the back camera, but the front camera has now been improved to 1.2 megapixel.

As for the costs of these new beauties, iPad air, which is to go on sale on November 1 (not in India of course), will cost $499, $599, $699 and $799 for the 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB Wi-Fi models respectively. And the Wi-Fi and 4G models will cost an extra $130 .
The iPad mini with retina display is said to be out by the end of November and will cost $399 for the 16GB Wi-Fi model and $529 for the 16GB Wi-Fi and 4G variant. The 32GB, 64GB and 128GB Wi-Fi models are priced at $499, $599 and $699 respectively, and their respective Wi-Fi and cellular variants cost $130 more.

New MacBook Pro
In addition to the new iPads and operating system for Apple computers, the company also announced two new additions to its MacBook Pro series. The new MacBook Pro is lighter, thinner and has better battery life, all for $2199.
