Apple iPhone 6: Why You Shouldn’t Get This

So, after all, the giant smartphone company Apple is not as great as the price of its latest product suggests. Amid the hullabaloo of the release of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus came quite a few complaints against the newly launched products. Nine customers have officially launched a complaint against their newly purchased iPhones. They have said that the smartphone has been bending under pressure.

To add to it, the newly released iOS 8.0.1 is also facing technical problems with regard to its functioning. Quite a many users of iPhone 5, 5C and 5S have complained that after updating their phones to iOS 8, their smartphones have become slower with respect to its Wi-Fi usage. The battery life has also reported been shortened. Other than that, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus users have also launched a complaint that the finger-print reading has not been functioning on the iOS 8 software.

The row of complaints against Apple has put the popular tech giant in the forefront for all the wrong reasons. As can be expected, Apple’s competitors have taken this opportunity to turn the cards in their favour. Blackberry CEO John Chen who is soon to take its BlackBerry Passport went on air and challenged the customers to try and bend its new product.

Responding to the complaints, Laban Roomes, the chief executive of Goldgenie (in charge of customising and gold plating the iPhones) in a flimsy effort went on to say that the only way an iPhone would bend was if a person slid the phone in his back pocket and sat on it for a long time.

With such poor argument, no acknowledgement of the problem and the highly priced product with technical malfunctions, the sale of Apple iPhone 6 and 6 Plus is likely to reduce by a great number. In a few months time Apple’s big competitors like Samsung, Google Nexus and even BlackBerry are all launching their new smartphones and phablets. With the kind of reputation Apple is now facing, these companies are likely to face a boost with the sale of their new products. There could be a shift in the choice of Apple users; many are likely to opt for slightly low priced smartphones with great value like those produced by Samsung and Google.

So, before you decide to go for the all-new, hyped iPhone 6 make sure whether you think it’s really worth the price when you can opt for a similar smartphone with better features with a lower price!
