Here I stand, saluting thee,
Brave soldiers of my country,
It’s been an year yet it’s so afresh,
Moments of anxiety and so much stress,
Moments of fire, moments of seize,
Moments of prayers that still exists.
There came some people, brandishing their guns,
Took away lives, with no repentance,
We pray for you, every night and day,
With your children you still could play,
You could laugh with your family,
We wish we hadn’t witnessed this tragedy.
You give us hope, for a better place,
For better men and better race,
No one would forget, what we lost that day,
For you, we pray everyday,
You brave soul of my country,
Here I stand, saluting thee.
