Yet another face in the crowd
I saw another day
Nothing was special in it
Yet, unique in its own way.
I wished she had stayed longer
Alas, she smiled and went away.
The face was innocent and the eyes bright
When she saw me something happened deep inside.
I asked myself what was it and back came the answer
I can’t decide
I am waiting for you to come back, but I know you will not
You will forget me very easily but sorry I cannot.
