Kumble Retires

Anil Kumble has announced his retirement from international cricket. His decision came after the third test at Delhi’s Feroz Shah Kotla Grounds.

Kumble had injured his finger during the test and received 11 stitches. He has reportedly retired due to injuries and loss of form. Anil Kumble is India’s highest wicket taker and one the greatest leg spinners the world has seen. Mahendra Singh Dhoni will take over as captain of the test team.

Kumble made his debut for India in 1990 and has taken over 600 test wickets and 330 ODI wickets and emerged as one the greatest icons of Indian Cricket. We wish him all the best for the future.
