Just to have a brief preview , I was certain to let go of some piece of information regarding the obvious . Taare Zameen Par is a new and freshly woven texture with an unmarked and newly picked context. It is based on mental autism. To put it in plain words, autism is a brain disorder that typically affects a person’s ability to communicate, form relationships with others and respond appropriately to the environment. Some people with autism are relatively normal-functioning, with their speech and intelligence intact. Others are either mentally retarded, mute or have serious language delays. For some, autism makes them seem closed off and shut down; others seem locked into repetitive behaviors and rigid patterns of thinking. Though earlier the movie was supposed to be directed primarily by the famous director Amol Gupte, soon after it fell onto Aamir Khan himself to do all that; the film is produced and directed by him. It is a film uniquely and distinctively different from the rest. The modern approach to this film shows that the Saga movies or the clichéd ones, to be more specific, are no longer the norm. Innovative ones with newfangled notions are coming up at every hour of the sunlight now with a few recognizably taking shape into a glorified existence. Fundamentally, in essence, it is a film made for the children but it is not just a children’s film so to say. It’s a film for all age groups. The movie also features one song entirely based on kids, called “Bam Bam Bhole”, which now is often promoted on the television screens and many hoardings. With a bit of luck, it will become the track which the kids will now get hooked to, for the sheer enjoyment and fun that it exudes.
The story unfurls with an 8 year old boy called Ishaan Awasthi, played by Dasheel Safary (a new budding child actor). Isolated in worlds of his own, he appears indifferent and remote and is unable to form emotional bonds with others. His mind works in an intriguingly strange and outlandish mode, full of abstraction and not comprehensible to any adult. Unlike other kids, he neither has any interest in his classes nor in the linked activities. The art teacher, Ram Shankar Nikumbh (played by Aamir Khan) seems to visibly observe his disinterest. By different ways and means, he tries to help him by providing all due care and attention as he is a child in a home away from home, a boarding school.
The music has been given by the famous musician trio of Shankar-Ehsaan–Loy and the lyrics are by the well-known and eminent lyricist, Prasoon Joshi.
Since Aamir is always able to live up to the expectations, I am eager and excited and am waiting in absolute anxiousness and full of concern for the movie to release. Hopefully, the movie should be able to move the audience’s hearts impactfully yet influentially.I wish the film all the payable success and a great opening, it being a huge box office hit!
