i lowe the album : ) its one of my favourites. the kasauli photo by bhumi, image 18 by gautam, 21and 28 by shiv, 25 by parul great work all of . sooo proud : )
@bhumi vaishnoo figures twice in this album . just realised : ) she ll be tooo hapi only now !
Shiv- 28 onwards. Really really good! Oh and after my exams, I’ll start one. For sure!
Jessica- You’ve interpreted the theme in so many different ways. 13! And hehe Vaishnoo will be happy.
Gautam, the shot at the station is really nice. What’s your blog address?
Parul- Your photos have a serene, calming quality. Really liked 24!
Harshita- Photo 17. : )
Achal, Your first album! Monkey photo is nice.
shiva, bhumi, jessica and parul… you all are the masters of the trade. you outdo your previous work with every new album. i have to learn a lot from your style of photography.
for all those who have few spare minutes can visit my blogsite and suggest improvements…
I’ve been watching this section from the time it started. Have to admit that the photographs in the last few weeks have been breathtaking.
ACHAL- 14, 23 may have been easy to take, but easier still to missout. I like the idea behind them. You have a great eye.
PARUL- 25, this monkey seems to be speaking something though it calm. well caught on camera.
SHIV- 29,30,31 superb pics. Tell me how have you got that ‘invisibility’ effect in pic 31?
I’d like to try it out aswell.
BHUMI- This is the first time im saying this, this album belongs to you. The diversity in your shots is incredible. The thought that has gone behind it speaks for itself. ( knowing you i bet you didnt think!!…still)
Bhumi you’ve come a long way. I really admire your work.
JESSICA- I know you can do better, ive seen you do better. Some time back yu were the best photographer on VP. Better than all of us.What’s going on? These pics are ordinary. Your standards are higher, show us next time.
1) compose your frame, with the camera on some kind of support or a tripod, preferably
2) choose the minimum iso, set shutter to say around 8-10 seconds,or more, depending on the kind of effect you need, very aperture to get a good balanced exposure setting.
3) press the shutter,or use the timer to release it,to avoid shake, let it expose for about 3-4 seconds, then move the models in the frame,or ask them to duck or leave the frame or something, let the exposure finish and Voila..!
the easier way of course is to shoot multiple pictures with some/all models except the one who is not translucent, then shoot one with only him,at the same settings and preferably same exposure, use layer masks and blending modes during post production to complete the effect
sorry : ( didnt mean to dissappoint anyone . will try and do better next time : ) lets hope so !
i guess i should go on leave for a while . that might help and start clicking . havent touched my camera for the past two months!

DEVAN- is missing…last album pics were good.
well the invisibility effect was done like so:
1) compose your frame, with the camera on some kind of support or a tripod, preferably
2) choose the minimum iso, set shutter to say around 8-10 seconds,or more, depending on the kind of effect you need, very aperture to get a good balanced exposure setting.
