The International Hindu Model United Nations Conference is being held at the Delhi University Conference Centre on 28-31 August 2008. This first-of its kind United Nations Simulation endorsed by Amnesty International will host over 200 college students representing more than 50 countries from India and abroad.

The Model United Nations acts as a bridge that connected the students to the ideals and objectives of the United Nations. IHMUN is a forum that allows the students to express their views on a host of widely varying issues. During the 4 days of conference, the delegates would involved in intense debate with the purpose of finding practical, effective and globally acceptable solutions to the threats and challenges faced by the global community. It is an excellent opportunity for every delegate that tested not only his oratory skills, but also his ability to negotiate, persuade and forge new allies without compromising the foreign policy of his country. It is a wonderful learning experience that taught students the art of diplomacy and leadership while building a number of new friends on the way.
