The Indo-Pak Rivalry In World Cup At Its Best

The biggest match of the world cup for all the Indian fans has kicked off in style. After winning the important toss on the dry wicket of Adelaide Oval, Mahendra Singh Dhoni opted to bat first.

Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma opened the innings for India and added 34 runs in 7.3 overs before Rohit played a loose shot and threw his wicket away. Experts say that keeping your best batsmen at number 3 is always good, and India did the same in today’s match.

Virat Kohli came out after Rohit’s wicket in order to keep the momentum going. So far, the duo of Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan have added more than 50 runs together with a pretty good strike rate.

With both Dhawan and Kohli having scored half-centuries, India seemed to be in a comfortable position, but soon Dhawan gave away his wicket in a run-out too.

For now Raina too has touched the 50 mark, and Kohli has scored a century in style, as usual. But although India has gone past 245 runs for a loss of two wickets, but there is a long way to go.

Keep playing hard, boys. Today is the day to wash off all your sins and become a hero. Be one!
