“Voice of the Youth” – The Elections that flipped the Scene!!

  • SumoMe

– The end of 34 years of Left Front rule in West Bengal…
– Jayalalithaa’s alliance ending Muthuvel Karunanidhi’s attempt to get a second term in Fort St George…
– Tarun Gogoi government getting a third term in office, first time since the Sixties…
– Kerala’s ruling leftists losing by just a whisker after making a brave fight of it…

What impression do these results cast? Or would the ruling parties set another example of the incumbent government stressing the voters on the efficacy of its welfare schemes, especially the promise of cheap grain and women’s empowerment?

“After 30 years of dictatorship, people of west bengal wanted, needed, and deserted a change…
This is the same story for other states also…
Since last 5 years I am learning different ideologies including communism and marxism… And they are not that bad really.
But our left parties have the souls of communism missing from their agenda…
They are just carrying the corpse of their outdated ideals and refusing to accept anything new…
I congratulate the people of these states for getting the govt of their choice…
At least there is some use of living in a democratic republic :-).
The new govts should now focus on improving the lives of the comman man.. Coz thats what democracy is all about…
Of the people…
By the people…
For the people…
I wish all the best to all my brothers living in these 4 states….
JAI HIND”
