the skin under your eyes –

paper thin;

darkened and saggened

by endless sunrises

that dawned through

a coffee-browned haze,

creating tensile arguments

on the notions of justice

and victimhood,

that have warped your tired mind


a state of absolute clarity

where everything was upside down,

inside out,

naked and ugly,

and made perfect nonsense;

imprinted with five syllable words,

of creativity frolicking in

half page long footnotes –
