Tamasha

The man who gave us an Abhay Deol of unparalleled versatility, a Kareena Kapoor who can act and still be as gorgeous as ever, an Alia Bhatt shedding off her “princess” avatar and a Ranbir Kapoor in the garb of a rockstar, is back with much Tamasha . The man who saw break-ups in a new light with Love Aaj Kal, the man who cleared the slanted notions of relationships falling apart- Imtiaz Ali is BACK.

This time around, he has brought ex-flames Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor together for a movie that has all the movie buffers rolling their eyes in anticipation. Since the first poster of the movie released, Tamasha is the talk of the town- not just because the lead pair looks absolutely alluring but because the poster holds promises galore. Revving up curiosity, the poster comes with a tagline that says, “Why always the same story”, indicating towards a possible fresh story that Bollywood has been waiting for since quite some time now.

Slated to release on November 27, 2015, Tamasha’s poster has raised quite a few eyebrows owing to the caricatures of Hindu Gods and movie artists sprawled over the background while Ranbir and Deepika are laughing away to glory. As far as the speculated storyline goes, all we know is that it is a movie about a wanderer (Ranbir) bumping into Deepika at a beautiful island called Corsica. With A.R. Rahman sprinkling his musical genius over the duo, this movie might just have a grand opening- something that Ranbir really needs.

Though Deepika has seen bright days this year with Happy New Year and Piku, Ranbir’s Roy and Bombay Velvet have seen a rather dull time. Considering the amount of limelight the first look of the movie has received, Tamasha might just turn the tables in his favor. After all, Ranbir and Imtiaz have a brilliant history to vouch for it, right?
