Currently ranked at Number 3 in the World rankings, this star has become popular among the youth because of her never dying spirit and dedication to pursue her passion! Squash: Dipika Pallikal is the first Indian Woman Squash player to crack into the International 100 rankings! She played her first International tournament when she was in 6th grade! She has won the German, Dutch, Scottish, French and Australian open in the Junior European category! Her USP among the youth has been her choice of the unconventional sport and her charm! No wonder she is bracketed among the most sought after female Youth Icons!
Wrestling: Often touted as the Game for the men, wresting is fast penetrating even among the women! The belief that women are too meek to wrestle was taken in with a vengeance by Sonika Kaliraman, daughter of the legendary wrestler Master Chandgi Ram! She is the only woman wrestler who represented the Indian contingent in the Asian Games! She is young, she is un-conventional, however, she’s married! Swimming: 25 years old, Shikha Tandon the ace swimming champion has won 36 medals in International championships already! She garnered maximum accolades after her score of 214 against England in Touton! She holds the record of scoring the second highest runs by a woman cricketer! Her attempt to defy the odds and be successful in a male oriented game has made Mitali an unsung Youth Icon!
